Orientation Audio CD Series
Reichian Therapy, developed by Wilhelm Reich, is a method for character transformation that recognizes the essential functional identity of the mind and body. Also known as Orgone Therapy and Orgonomic Therapy, Reichian Therapy recognizes how “armoring” against the free flow of life energy blocks full emotional expression and the realization of one’s core self. The Orgonomic therapist works psychodynamically in the form of characteranalysis, as well as somatically to reveal to the patient\client their character attitudes and their biophysical armoring. As the character armor dissolves, the somatic interventions assist in breaking up the unhealthy, historically embedded patterns that lead to physical and mental symptoms.
These two Orientation audio courses are designed to offer the public and professional audience some basic exposure to Reich’s theoretical orientation and clinical approach.

Breaking Through Patient Resistance
Therapy falls apart and patients move on unless the therapist can work effectively with the patient’s resistance. Reich worked directly with immediacy and efficacy in approaching resistance. Learn how to work with presenting character styles that actually illuminate and manifest the patient’s resistance. Discover ways to pinpoint latent negative resistance and see how it infects treatment. Time: 1:40 (1.5 hrs CE credit)
